Aristextil SAS, a leading company in the textile sector, is known for its high-quality home products and its extensive market presence. With 27 stores nationwide and a Distribution Center (CEDI), they faced significant challenges in managing their inventory and synchronizing data across their various locations.
The implementation of Henutsen’s RFID technology, integrated with the Odoo ERP, transformed their operations, improving inventory accuracy, optimizing the supply chain, and increasing customer satisfaction.
What challenges did they face?
Inventory Inaccuracy:
The discrepancies between the records and the physical inventory were causing problems in the supply chain .
Extended Inventory Times:
Manual counts were slow and laborious.
Customer Satisfaction:
The inability to restock products on time negatively affected the customer experience.
Lack of Synchronization:
The lack of integration between the stores and the central distribution center (CEDI) made it difficult to have an updated view of the inventory.
Our solution
We implemented RFID technology in all of their stores and the central distribution center (CEDI), integrated with the Odoo ERP system. This solution included:
01. RFID Tags
We conducted tests to select the perfect tag, then initiated the process of printing, encoding, and affixing RFID tags to all products.
02. RFID Readers
Each store uses RFID readers to perform inventory counts, searches, and movements such as entries, exits, or transfers.
03. Integration with Odoo
We implemented the Odoo ERP system in modules such as Inventory, Sales, among others, and integrated it to receive and process real-time data from Henutsen.
04. RFID Tunnel
We developed a custom RFID tunnel from scratch, specifically tailored to operational and space needs, ensuring seamless integration into their supply chain.
Results
The implementation of RFID technology integrated with the Odoo ERP system at Aristextil SAS not only resolved inventory accuracy and synchronization issues but also optimized the supply chain and increased customer satisfaction.
